VICTORIAS City posted a significant increase in the number of business permits and firms registered in recent years from being a sugarcane concentrated city in northern Negros Occidental.
Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca said he is grateful for the increase from 400 business permits when he first assumed as mayor to 1,200 at present.
The figures were confirmed by Noeme Nelson, chief of Business Permits and Licensing Office.
This was realized through the year-round one-stop-shop established at the Negosyo Center Building located behind the Victorias City Hall.
