PCG shoots down PAF in basketball tourney

MARK "Mackhy" Mapute and Ali Marcial combined for 45 points as the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) shot down the Philippine Air Force (PAF), 87-80, in the AFP-PNP Sportsfest 2016 Basketball Tournament that resumed at the Almendras Gym Davao City Recreation Center Tuesday, October 11.

PCG, which lost its debut outing to PRO 11, entered the winning column with a 1-1, win-loss card.

The hot-handed Mapute buried six triples from different angles including a back-to-back in the third canto to keep the Airmen at bay.
