Danao eyed for Palaro


THE officials from Department of Education (DepEd) central office will be in Danao City on Oct. 18 to 19 to check the city’s sports facilities and billeting centers for its bid to host the 2017 Palarong Pambansa.

This was relayed to Sun.Star Cebu by Danao City’s school superintendent Dr. Rosalie Pasaol. She said personnel from DepEd central office will check the billeting centers and the oval track.

Danao City is one of the bidders for the 2017 Palarong Pambansa, joining Iloilo City and Leyte. Negros Occidental recently dropped out from the bid.
